How to Use
Enter Your Text
Type or paste anything into the box above - a name, a bio line, a caption. The preview updates as you type, so you never have to press a button to see the result.
Pick a Style
Scroll the styles and pick the one that fits. The two at the top are true cursive; the rest are decorative alternatives. If a style cannot convert part of your text, it says so on the card.
Copy and Paste
Click Copy on the style you want. The text goes to your clipboard as plain characters, so you can paste it straight into any app that accepts text.
What Is a Cursive Text Generator?
A cursive text generator turns ordinary letters into script-style Unicode characters you can copy and paste. Type a name or phrase, compare the two cursive styles above, and copy the result for a bio, caption or message.
Unlike an installable cursive font, this tool changes the characters themselves. Unicode assigns separate code points to script letter shapes, so a character like ๐ is not the letter C in a fancy typeface - it is its own character. That is why the result survives copying: it is text, not styling, so it keeps its shape when you paste it somewhere that strips formatting.
The trade-off is coverage and rendering. Unicode only defines these shapes for letters and some digits, so anything outside that set passes through unchanged. And because each app picks its own font to draw these characters, the same text can look slightly different on another device - or show as a blank box if that device lacks the glyph. If you need a font file to install, this is not the tool; if you need text you can paste into a bio, it is.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does this cursive generator work?
It replaces supported Latin letters with Unicode script characters as you type. Choose Cursive Script or Bold Cursive Script, then copy the preview. No font is installed, and unsupported characters stay unchanged. The app where you paste the result controls its final appearance.
Is the cursive font generator free?
Yes. Every style on this page is free to use, with no download, no sign-up, and no limit on how much text you convert.
Can I copy and paste cursive text?
Yes - that is the whole point. Click Copy on any style and paste the result anywhere that accepts text: Instagram bios, TikTok captions, Discord messages, WhatsApp status, or documents.
What are the most beautiful cursive fonts?
The two true cursive styles are Cursive Script and Bold Cursive Script - they look closest to handwriting. The remaining styles on this page are decorative rather than cursive, so pick by what fits the place you are pasting into.
Does the cursive font generator work with numbers?
It depends on the style. Cursive Script has no number variants in Unicode, so digits pass through unchanged - the card tells you when that happens. Styles like Bold Serif, Double-Struck and Monospace do convert numbers.
Can I add hearts to cursive text?
Hearts are standalone symbols, not letter variants, so they are outside what a character converter changes. You can paste a heart symbol next to your converted text yourself - it will keep working wherever the cursive text works.
